TRIP DETAILS:
Sunday, February 18: Depart from Minneapolis at 11:00 am, pack your own snack and beverage for the ride up, arrive at Ballard’s Resort at 5:00 pm, evening dinner in the dining room, lodging first night.
Monday, February 19: Breakfast, ice fishing, lunch provided on the lake, evening dinner at the resort, lodging second night.
Tuesday, February 20: Breakfast, ice fishing, lunch provided on the lake, evening dinner at the resort, lodging third night.
Wednesday, February 21: Breakfast, depart Ballard’s at 8:00 am, mid-day lunch served on the return coach, arrive back to Minneapolis at 2:00 pm.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Lodging in cabins: Each unit is complete with a living room, two single beds per bedroom, a bathroom, a TV, towels, bedding, & daily maid service. Based on lodging preference and availability, there are one, two, and three-bedroom cabins at hand for reservations.
Ice fishing: Angling in spacious, well-heated, winter fish houses, outfitted with two holes per person ( 2 to 6-person houses available ). Ice fishing poles, bait, tackle, and fish processing are provided. Guided transit to and from winter angling houses is included via heated ( snow track vehicle ) Bombardiers. It is approximately a nine-hour day from Bombardier's departure time to return.
American Plan meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided daily.
Beverages: Pack a small cooler for your own snack and beverage on the ride up. We will use the cooler to transport your fish on the way home. Other than at breakfast, you are responsible for your own beverage during lunch & dinner. Do not bring personal beverages from your cabin into the lodge, bar, or dining room. The full-service bar offers a complete list of beers, liquors, and non-alcoholic beverages. The gift shop also offers the sale of similar items along with various snacks and souvenirs.
MN fishing license required: You can purchase a Minnesota angling license at Ballard’s Resort.
Gratuities: Tips for the crew (guides, wait staff, housekeeping) are not included in the package price.
Transportation: Professional transportation is provided by Windstar Lines. www.gowindstar.com. Your vacation begins the second you climb aboard. This (57) passenger deluxe model includes DVD / VCR monitors, restroom facilities, & comfortable seating. Socialize with friends, bring along a movie, read a book, relax, & share the adventures of group travel.
Arrival: The bus will depart from Cabela’s in Rogers at 11:00 AM on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Park in the Far East parking lot. The bus will begin loading at 10:30 AM.
Departure: The bus will depart from Ballard’s Resort at 8:00 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The bus will arrive at Cabela’s at 2:00 PM.
